From the recording Mystical Creature

*The inspiration behind this song was a trip to Maui where I heard stories from the locals of volcanoes spilling hot lava. A local jabbed a stick into the newly formed black crust and sent a crack shooting across the lava bed revealing the red lava underneath… A song had to be written!
Also, this song was recorded as a solo piece on my Dragon’s Lair album, go listen to how it’s evolved over time!

Jessica Star- lead vocal, electric rhythm guitar
Joseph Blackfeather- bass
Mark Abbott- drums, percussion
Winter- electric guitars and lead guitar
Gregg Tilles- electric rhythm guitar
Sharon Knight- harmony vocal

Lyrics

Firewalk naked painted
Come to your senses altered, awakened
Forage deep moss stepping
Lower and denser the foliage is growing
Eyelids of ivy, lips of sugarcane
Dripping and wet, leaving stains
In full swing, I wear thin crescent moons
Made up of gin blossom blooms
And taking me in is my desire
New breath inhales soon
Being myself, I remember who I am
Doors are open; I am flying the friendly sky
Never an ending and no ending to begin
Roof taps made of rain
Lightning inside my brain
Eyelids of ivy, lips of sugarcane
Dripping and wet, leaving stains
Firewalk naked painted in the rain
Firewalk painted naked in the rain
