*The inspiration for this song was years in the making.
I wrote a poem with the same name a long time ago and never put it to music.
I had a dream in Truth or Consequences, NM where three muses were performing onstage at an outdoor festival singing this melody (the verse) and it was so beautiful! I woke up and recorded it and then wrote the rest of the song that day and this would have been the fourth verse:
“Her feathers are full, her eyes still ablaze
She is manifest through the smoky haze
And with the rising sun comes a promising new day
Victorious songs are sung as she flies away!!!”
